Rees Theatre brings weekend of Christmas magic December 16-18

PLYMOUTH, Ind. - The Rees Theatre is bringing all the Christmas magic to Plymouth this weekend. The theater will have Christmas trees on display and present a showing of "A Christmas Story" downtown.

More than 25 local businesses and not-for-profits have hand-decorated Christmas trees on display near the theater. Families are invited to take in the magic and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate during the first annual Best Decorated Tree contest.

For a donation of $3, guests can cast their vote for the most well-decorated tree.

Votes can be made from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Rees invites you back with a showing of "A Christmas Story" at 2 p.m.

Children ages 12 and under get in for free and must be with an adult.

An admission fee of $5 is required for guests ages 13 and over.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.

A limited number of themed ornaments will be available for purchase at the showing.
