Recall issued for Jif peanut butter due to possible salmonella contamination

The J.M. Smucker Co. is issuing a voluntary recall on some of its Jif products because of a possible salmonella contamination.

The recalled peanut butter products were distributed nationwide.

Recalled products have lot codes 1274425 – 2140425. These codes can be found near the best-if-used-by date on the packaging.

If you have any of these products, you should throw them out.
