ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, October 12, 2024
Scattered showers and storms currently developing over Lake Michigan will progress east-southeast over the coming hours. Most of the activity will stay just north of Michiana, but near and north of the state line, some showers and storms are possible this evening and tonight. Lows will fall to near 50 degrees still as clouds try to break up in the morning. Sunday will be cooler and mostly dry, but a few showers are possible in the afternoon as a system moves in, bringing wind and cooler temperatures. The cold temperatures will spark lake effect rain showers Sunday night through Tuesday night, with the best odds of rain near the lake. Highs will only be in the low to mid 50s Monday through Wednesday. Lake effect rain wraps up Wednesday as a ridge builds, which will bring in warmer temperatures back to near 70 heading into next weekend.
Tonight: Showers and storms north. Low 50.
Sunday: Scattered afternoon showers. Breezy. High 64.
Monday: Lake effect rain. High 54.
Tuesday: Lake effect rain. High 52.
