BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Road Department invites the public to attend an informational session on Thursday at 6 p.m., regarding the Red Arrow Highway improvement project from Berrien Street to Lakeshore Road.

The session will include a construction schedule and updates.

Road department officials will also answer questions related to the project.

Meeting topics will also include road lane reconfiguration, a non-motorized trail, project impacts on traffic, and more.

Officials anticipate the construction schedule to begin in late winter or early spring.

The road will be closed to thru traffic during the drainage and road reconstruction phases.

The informational session will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. at Chikaming Township Hall, located at 13535 Red Arrow Highway in Harbert, Mich.
