Billboards pop up across South Bend honoring local Black leaders
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Random acts of kindness can go a long way and make someone's day.
Seniors from a local retirement community popped up bearing gifts to students at Bethel College on Friday.
Residents from Mishawaka’s Primrose Retirement Community stopped by a nursing class at the college and gave students some treats.
The retirement community usually carries out these acts every year.
Bethel College was chosen on Friday because of their nursing program.
“Bethel College has a wonderful program and they have a great nursing program to train the nurses and our staff at Primrose does such a wonderful job they really work hard every day for us so we like to give back to the nurses in other places,” said Nancy Helms, a Primrose bus driver.
Other Primrose communities across the nation also performed random acts of kindness on Friday, hoping to pay it forward and inspire others.
