(ABC NEWS) -- President Elect Joe Biden will be officially announcing his Cabinet nominations in a press conference Tuesday afternoon.
His nominations include a history-making group of advisors who will help guide his administration’s foreign policy and national security agenda, including the first Latino to lead the Department of Homeland Security and the first women to serve as director of national intelligence, and Treasury Secretary.
The nominations introduced at the press conference include:
- Antony Blinken, Secretary of State
- Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security
- Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence
- Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations
- Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor
- John Kerry, Special Presidential Envoy for Climate
