Premier Arts hits the Lerner stage with 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'

ELKHART, Ind. -- Premier Arts, the resident theatre company at the historic Lerner Theatre, announced their entire local cast of 80 members will hit the stage Friday through Sunday to perform "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

The Lerner Theatre is the community partner for this show and is continuing its 100-year celebration.

Synopsis:

"The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka's world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels, and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka’s army of curious Oompa-Loompas."

There are three opportunities to see the performance, including Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.
