UPDATE (10:40 p.m.): The South Bend Police Department confirm that one person was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This is still and active and ongoing investigation by the South Bend Violent Crimes Unit.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police are responding to the report of a possible shooting at the intersection of Dorothy and Prairie Street as of 8 p.m.
There is no word at this time on the extent of injuries or of suspects.
It is asked that the public avoid this area for the time being.
