With an upper level ridge still being the primary motivator for our forecast, expect generally hot and humid weather through Tuesday night with a few pop-up showers and storms possible today and tomorrow in the afternoon hours. The heat advisory remains in effect for our area until later tonight, but risk for heat-related illness is possible up until the cold front Wednesday. Temperatures are in the low 90s with heat index values near the triple digits to start off the week, but a passing cold front knocks highs down to the mid 80s and upper 70s Wednesday and Thursday respectively. The best chance to see widespread showers and storms is behind the cold front from Wednesday morning through Thursday morning.
Today: Scattered showers. High 90.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 73.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 92.
Wednesday: Scattered showers. High 84.
