Local healthcare professionals warn of high flu rates
South Bend Police are looking for 23-year-old Jacob Sandy who has not been seen since Saturday at 10 a.m.
He was possibly heading to kayak at Lake Michigan, but his exact destination was unknown.
Police located Jacob sandy's car, a blue 2000 PT Crusier near Porter beach at Indiana Dunes State Park.
The town of Porter police have taken over the investigation and they're being assisted by the Lake County Sheriff's department and the U.S. Coast Guard.
The Sandy family says they're thankful for the support they've received throughout this difficult time.
"We appreciate everyone in Indiana who has been very kind and thank you for getting it out thereon the news and the media it all helps and thanks to the Coast Guard everybody plays a role to help," Jacob sandy's brother Paul Sandy said.
Sandy is 5'11" tall, weighs 150 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes. He was driving a light blue 2000 PT Cruiser with Michigan license plate DJA0919.
