One sent to hospital following three-vehicle crash Thursday morning
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Police are on the scene of a crash and possible shooting at Edison and Hickory roads in Mishawaka.
Police have confirmed that the shooting victim found at the scene passed away at the hospital.
Police were called to the area just after 3 p.m. Friday.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has responded to the scene. Mishawaka Police, Mishawaka Fire and Notre Dame Police are all at the scene.
There are at least two vehicles involved in the crash. One is overturned in the parking lot of a shopping complex.
The victim who died was identified as Noria Mtambalika and the injured passenger was identified as Mundi Glory Sendeza.
Kalekeni Lindeire was charged in the shooting.
