Police identify vehicles involved in gunfire Sunday evening

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety is offering a reward leading to information leading to the arrest of people involved in a shooting incident that happened Sunday night near the 300 block of Lake Street.

Around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Lake Street for reports of gunfire.

When police arrived, they located over 40 shell casings and two homes with damage from gunfire, reports said.

A bystander recorded video of the gunfire and the suspected shooters as they ran back to their vehicles. Video is below, courtesy of Michael Hoyh.


The vehicles were identified as a white Jeep Cherokee, black Kia Sedona and gray Ford Focus. The Focus has been located and is being processed by crime scene techs.
