Pipeline maintenance will create restrictions on Harrison Road starting Wednesday
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka announced on Monday that westbound lanes of Harrison Road will be restricted between Capital Avenue (S.R. 331) and Lexington Boulevard for roughly a week starting Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m.
Road crews say that due to the location of the NIPSCO pipeline repair, westbound traffic will be reduced to one thru lane around the work area and motorists are asked to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
Those lane restrictions are expected to be in place until Monday, Oct. 21.
"Barricades and signage will be in place during this restriction," city officials said. "Motorists are requested to use caution to ensure the safety of the crews working in this area."
Questions regarding the work can be directed to the NIPSCO Customer Care telephone number at 1-800-464-7726.
