PHM moves middle schools, Penn High School to virtual only through Jan. 15
Due to recommendations by the St. Joseph County Department of Health, the Penn Harris Madison school district will move middle schools and Penn High School to virtual only instruction from November 23 to January 15.
The affected middle schools include Discovery Grissom and Schmucker.
Secondary students are expected to resume a hybrid schedule on January 19, the day following the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.
The exceptions to the virtual only instruction include some students in the Exceptional Education and Young Adult program students.
Middle school students will start their school day at 9:35 a.m., have lunch at 12:30 p.m. and end their day at 4 p.m.
High school students will begin at 8:55 a.m., have lunch at 11:45 and be dismissed at 3:17 p.m.
