Pierceton man dead after motorcycle crash in Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- Fifty-five-year-old Edward Dempsey is dead from his injuries after a motorcycle crash Thursday night. 

Kosciusko County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to State Road 13, just north of East Shoop Road, around 10:00 p.m. for the crash. 

Deputies believe high speeds caused the motorcycle to drive off the side of the road and hit a wooden platform nearby. 

Dempsey, was thrown from his motorcycle and landed in someone's yard. The motorcycle flipped over multiple times before it finally stopped.
