Pedestrian killed in semi crash on U.S. 31 in in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - A pedestrian was killed in a crash on U.S. 31 and State Road 10 Thursday night, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement identified the victim as 64-year-old Ricky Lewis.
According to the investigation, Lewis was wearing dark clothes when he walked across southbound U.S. 31 and into the path of the semi.
The semi driver didn’t see Lewis in time, according to law enforcement.
Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Drugs and alcohol don’t appear to be a factor for the semi driver.
