SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The annual Cops and Goblins is underway, with tickets available to the public Tuesday from 6 - 8 a.m. and 5 - 7 p.m. Cars arrived at the South Bend Police Station hours early to pick up the free tickets, one car even arriving at 1:30 a.m. The long lines from the morning created traffic congestion, South Bend police tell ABC57. As a result, they started giving away tickets early for the afternoon slot to mitigate long lines. Families, parents and kids eagerly waited in line, with one daughter saying when she saw the videos from the morning of the long lines, she told her mom they had to go hours early. For Yaretzi Deleoncarrizosa, she's gone to Gobs and Goblins for years and loves the family bonding aspect. “We’ve been doing this since we were little, and it’s always been a tradition," she says. "We’ve always gone and it’s a special family bonding time."
