Pedestrian dies in early morning crash along State Road 13

Photo courtesy: Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – A 21-year-old man died in a crash along State Road 13 Sunday morning, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office reported.
At 3:49 a.m., deputies responded to a crash north of Syracuse Webster Road in Tippecanoe Township.
According to the investigation, 21-year-old Eric Espinoza of Cromwell was walking on the travel portion of the road when he was struck by a Jeep Compass.
Espinoza was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
