A cold front trudges through early this morning, bringing scattered showers mainly to the southern and eastern portions of Michiana. As the front passes, partly cloudy skies and much cooler temperatures settle in to start the weekend with highs expected to barely peak in the low 70s today. Expect chilly weather tonight across all of our area with lows in the mid 40s as well as scattered lake-enhanced showers for those counties closest to the lake. Most, if not all, the rain tapers off by the time most of us are awake on Saturday. However, keep the jacket handy as highs will crest in the mid 60s and subsequently fall back into the low 40s Saturday night. We start to see a bump in temperatures on Sunday that will carry over into the start of the next work week as another dry spell comes across Michiana.
Today: AM showers. High 71.
Tonight: Showers late. Low 46.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 64.
Sunday: Sunny. High 73.
