Part of W. Jefferson Boulevard to close for boiler unit installation at County-City Building Complex
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Officials with St. Joseph County announced a portion of W. Jefferson Boulevard from S. Lafayette Boulevard to S. Main Street will be closed on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be restricted in this area during this time.
The temporary road closure is due to crews transporting a new boiler unit, by crane, onto the fifth-floor roof of the County-City Building Complex.
Early and absentee in-person voting will remain accessible to the public at this location from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday.
Residents are asked to continue to enter through the main entrance of the County-City Building, located off S. Lafayette Boulevard, to vote.
Additional early and absentee In-person voting locations include:
- Mishawaka County Services Building - 219 Lincolnway W. in Mishawaka
- Centre Township Library - 1150 Kern Rd. in South Bend
Both locations above will be open for voting on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
