Parasailer saved by emergency services off North Beach in South Haven

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. -- A parasailer is safe after an emergency rescue in the waters of Lake Michigan.

This happened the afternoon of July 1 at North Beach in South Haven. South Haven Area Emergency Services says the sailor became tangled in the canopy's ropes and couldn't make it back to shore.

Another parasailer was able to get the attention of people on shore, who called for help.

Safety officials quickly responded and got the man back to shore unharmed.
