Communicating storm damage at risk in Fulton County
OSCEOLA, Ind. -- Softball players with the Osceola Baseball and Softball Association received a warm sendoff, as athletes prepare to leave Michiana to Alabama for the 2024 Babe Ruth World Series.
The national competition will pit Michiana's 14U Division against the Netherlands, Australia, Mexico, and several teams from across the United States.
"I'm excited to see how we compete and perform against other teams that we've never seen before. And just see how their gameplay differs from ours. And I'm Just to experience it all honestly, it's actually history in the making for Penn Park. They've never had a girl softball team make it to the World Series. So it's something really positive," states Coach of the Penn Park 14U Softball Team.
