Update: The South Bend Police Department confirms officers responded to the 1000 block of Emerson Avenue to find a male victim with non-life threatening injuries. A female suspect was arrested on the 1700 block of Twyckenham Drive and booked into the St. Joseph County Jail. 

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One person has been detained following reports of a stabbing in the 1700 block of Twyckenham Drive in South Bend. 

St. Joseph County Dispatch confirms that this stemmed from a stabbing report on Emerson Avenue at 1:35 a.m. 

Police surrounded the home on Twyckenham Drive for hours trying to get someone to come out of the home.

ABC57 News had a crew on scene who saw police take one person into handcuffs. 

Police have since cleared the area and have reopened roads.
