One injured in shooting on Wellington Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One person is in the hospital after a shooting on Wellington Street.
Police were called to the 100 block, west of Lasalle Park, around 10:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
One person was found with gunshot wounds and taken to the hospital where they are in stable condition.
The South Bend Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is now investigating.
