One dead, one seriously hurt in head-on crash in Sturgis Township

ABC 57 ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- One person is dead and another is seriously hurt after a head-on crash in Sturgis Township.
Michigan State Police say it happened at about 1 a.m. on US-12 near Stubey Road on August 6. It involved a Ford F250 pickup truck and a Toyota Rav4. The driver of the Rav 4, a 25-year-old woman from Paw Paw, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man driving the pickup truck had serious injuries and was airlifted to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
