One dead in crash on County Road 250 East

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. - One man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on County Road 250 East Tuesday afternoon, according to the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the scene just before 4 p.m. for the incident.
According to the investigation, 62-year-old William Armour of Mill Creek was driving south on the road when, for an unknown reason, he left the road and struck a tree.
The vehicle returned to the road for about 100 feet before driving off again and hitting a second tree head-on, reports said.
Armour was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle.
