ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – A 15-year-old has died following a crash involving a fallen tree that injured two others on Thursday, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office reported.
At 9:22 p.m. on August 12, deputies were called to C.R. 1, south of Arizona Avenue, for reports of a crash.
A 2009 Scion HB was traveling southbound on C.R. 1, north of Wyndtree Boulevard, when it collided with a large tree in the roadway, reports said.
15-year-old Tiarra Clinch, the back-seat passenger in the vehicle, died from her injuries on Friday afternoon.
Two other people were injured in the crash.
This crash is still under investigation.
