National talent twirls into Notre Dame
Seconds felt like hours. The crowd standing to get a glance of the action. Can we hold them?
The Irish continually gruelled in the last few minutes, spanning across the field, fighting for their victory.
Irish QB Sam Hartman studied the field, hands cupping his mouth, agonizing over how this will play out.
But victory, was not meant for today.
In the most heartbreaking play, the Buckeye's Chip Trayanum (RB), trailed by three of Notre Dame's defenders: Marist Liufau (LB), Rylie Mills (DL) and DJ Brown (S), scored a touchdown.
The final score: 14-17.
Game Buckeyes.
Marcus Freeman gave some parting words about where to go from here:
"How do you find a way to make your team better after a difficult loss?" he asked. "We'll do that."
