NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Students at Notre Dame returned to classes on Monday, with safety guideline signs posted all over campus. All students are required to wear a mask when indoors.
According to some students that spoke to ABC57, they feel the university is doing the best it can to keep everyone safe in a very uncertain situation.
“I personally feel very safe coming back to campus. Everyone had to get tested and have a negative result to come back to campus, and there’s a ton of protocols in the dorms, around the buildings about masks and distancing, so overall I feel like they’re creating as safe an environment as possible,” said Notre Dame student Carolyn Woll.
Many students are taking at least one class virtually to start the semester off, but most say they still prefer in-person classes.
