SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame is one of 51 universities that are currently under investigation by the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights.
The University is being accused of alleged racial discrimination after President Trump ordered universities to get rid of DEI programs in both grades K-12 and higher education.
This comes after universities were warned with a memo released in Feb. that universities could lose federal funding by not complying.
In response to this, the University has made the following statement:
