ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. –– For the first time in program history the Notre Dame football team will be competing as a part of the Atlantic Coast Conference. This means the Irish have an opportunity to win their first ever conference championship.
However, Notre Dame football head coach Brian Kelly said he understands the conference runs through the Clemson Tigers.
