Niles resident injured in motorcycle crash on Lake Shore Drive

A Niles man was injured when his motorcycle crashed on Lake Shore Drive Tuesday evening, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to Lake Shore Drive and Shady Shore Drive around 11:15 p.m.
The investigation revealed Brian Grice was traveling westbound on Lake Shore Drive when his motorcycle ran off the roadway and struck a pole on the side of the road, deputies said.
Grice was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Grice was not wearing a helmet, deputies said.
The crash remains under investigation.
