NILES, Mich.--- Niles Community Schools held a forum with the Berrien County Sheriff's Office to address youth vaping on Tuesday. The forum informed parents on the dangers of youth vaping and the efforts the school system is taking to address the epidemic.
Berrien County Sheriffs say they have confiscated vaping products from middle and high schools in the area. They warned parents about the discipline students could face when caught vaping at school, including expulsion.
Officials say that some of the warning signs to look out for when it comes to youth vaping include, constant thirst, frequent nose bleeds, refusing caffeinated beverages, and bloodshot eyes.
