Irish bring home 2-0 win against Syracuse

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame women’s soccer team took home a 2-0 win over Syracuse. The Irish have won three consecutive games and picked up a shutout in each of those three wins.

The Fighting Irish took the 1-0 lead into the half, limiting Syracuse Orange to one shot from long distance outside of the box.

The Irish improved 9-0 all time against Syracuse at home and have not allowed a goal in any of those matches. 

Notre Dame will have another bye week coming up prior to playing their next match on Oct. 15 against Wake Forest at Alumni Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
