Caller mistakes cable line for power lines, thought children were in danger

Cass County Dispatch received a call of power lines on a school bus with children inside Monday afternoon.

First responders were sent to the area of Kennedy Street and Rose Drive in Howard Township around 12:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, dispatch says units on scene learned a cable line was on the bus, which the caller had mistaken for power lines.

No one was hurt and the scene has been cleared.
