ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a new traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of U.S. 33 and Reliance Road.

The new signal was activated on Tuesday, and INDOT officials ask that drivers use caution in the area as they adjust to the new traffic pattern.

When heading towards Goshen on U.S. 33, officials say the existing clearance of the C.R. 17 bridge over U.S. 33 should allow drivers to have clear line of sight before and after passing under the bridge.

Officials add that this addition will allow for better coordination along U.S. 33 which should help with congestion.
