New Mishawaka LEGO store holding grand opening Saturday

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The grand opening of Bricks and Minifigs Mishawaka is happening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The store serves as a place for Michiana to get their hands on all things LEGO without having to drive too far.

Brian Springman, owner of Bricks and Minifigs Mishawaka, "I'm really hoping it brings out the LEGO community. Hopefully it brings the community around and brings everyone together"

Snacks will be available, and they are giving out a free custom minifigure to the first 100 guests.

"We have a 1200 square foot party room that will have a derby track for the kids. We're going to have a lot of birthday parties, but we are going to try to branch out to do events for older folks, so we can do like parties, you know, date nights, stuff like that. We're going to try everything," said Springman.

There will be at least 100 LEGO sets up for grabs and you could win one of two free birthday parties.

The store is located at 135 West Edison Rd. in Mishawaka.
