Malachi Fields emerging as Notre Dame’s new offensive weapon
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - It's been two weeks since Notre Dame women's basketball took the floor at the ACC Tournament.
Despite head coach Muffet McGraw thinking there was some rust entering the NCAA Tournament, the top-seeded Irish cruised to victory over No. 16 Bethune-Cookman, winning 92-50.
The Irish were led by Arike Ogunbowale's 23 points and Jessica Shepard's double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. They advance to the second round, meeting No. 9 Michigan State at Purcell Pavilion on Monday.
Hear from the Irish in the video above!
