Nappanee railroad crossing closed after train hits car

NAPPANEE, Ind. -- The railroad crossing at Oakland Avenue is closed after a crash.
Police confirm a car was stuck on the tracks around 5 a.m. Monday morning.
A train then collided with the car, causing the crossing to be closed for an investigation.
Nobody was inside the car at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
