Multiple arrested on drug charges in Starke County
STARKE COUNTY, Ind. - The Starke County Sheriff’s Office reports that after a search warrant was obtained, five individuals were arrested on drug charges Thursday afternoon.
Officials say Thursday, around 3:00 P.M., deputies with the Starke County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 1600 East block of 400 South.
During the search of the residence suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, a scale, syringes, including a loaded syringe, and numerous paraphernalia items were located, according to authorities.
43-year-old Angela Hayes of Knox, 27-year-old Christine Blough of North Judson, 25-year-old Aaron Keefover of Francesville, 56-year-old Morris Fowler of Knox, and 23-year-old Jeffrey Jacobs of North Judson, were taken into custody.
They have been preliminarily charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level six felony, possession of a narcotic drug, a level six felony, and visiting a common nuisance, a class b misdemeanor.
