The heat breaks Thursday and Friday as a storm system to our east tilts the wind to the northeast, bringing slightly cooler air, but unfortunately no rain. Temperatures spike again this weekend, nearing 90 Saturday and possibly Sunday. The arrival of storms on Sunday will determine how hot it gets. If storms arrive in the evening highs will reach 90, if they arrive earlier, mid-80s. The latest trend is earlier. Estimates on rainfall are not impressive, there's hope for a quarter inch. Next week is milder, with hope of more rain by the following weekend.
Tonight: A few clouds. Low 62.
Thursday: Mostly sunny High 84.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 82.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 90.
