Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after losing control, crashing into car

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports deputies responded to the Olive Trail at 12B Road around 4:54 p.m. on Aug. 27 for a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.

Upon arrival, deputies learned a motorcycle, operated by a 48-year-old Rochester man, was traveling south on Olive Trail approaching 12B Road before losing control.

The motorcyclist then crashed into a 2015 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 29-year-old Warsaw man, traveling north on Olive Trail.

The motorcyclist was airlifted to Memorial Hospital to be treated for a leg injury.

The driver was uninjured.
