SOUTH BEND, Ind. - It was the second annual Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, celebration at a packed theater at the Morris Performing Arts Center on Sunday.
The Day of the Dead observes All Hallow's Eve, All Saints' Day, and All Souls' Day.
It's a day for family and friends to gather to remember and pay respects to those who've died.
Local community members who came out were happy to be a part of the tradition now here in Michiana.
The event brought out hundreds of community members and featured performances along with songs and dances, plus local vendors.
