When you think of veterinarians, you probably don’t think of them working with bees.
Thanks to new federal regulations, bee keepers cannot give sick bees antibiotics.
So now more veterinarians will get bees as patients.
At least 22 Michigan veterinarians are willing to work with the insects.
Some have already been on “hive call”, going to be hives to treat them.
But some say it is hard to treat bees because many have little bee experience.
