When does it get bad?
Recent rainfall has been beneficial, and the patter continues with scattered showers through Thursday, the wettest day is likely Wednesday. South Bend doubled its monthly rainfall this weekend, now up to 1.3 inches, to date. The rainfall deficit for the year is still nearly four-inches below-normal.
The pattern through midweek is unsettled, with a low that will track slowly up the Ohio River valley. Wednesday is the best chance of soaking rain, the other day this week, showers will be highly scattered and intermittent.
This weekend will be fair again, with highs nearing 80 degrees.
