Model Elementary School asking families to participate in holiday drive-thru food drive
GOSHEN, Ind. – A local elementary school is giving families a chance to meet Santa while also giving back to the community.
Model Elementary School in Goshen is asking families to participate in their holiday food drive.
Families can bring non-perishable food donations to Model Elementary drive-thru style on Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The hosts of the food drive ask that you keep your donations in the trunk of the car and staff and leadership kids will unload the items for you.
After your items are unloaded, families can drive by Santa so kids can tell him what they want for Christmas, and the kids in return will receive a sweet treat via Santa’s Special Candy Chute.
If you don’t have food items to donate, the school is also taking cash donations.
All donations will go to The Window, a non-profit, faith-based organization that helps community members in need.
