MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Youth Advisory Council celebrated the ribbon cutting of a project they had been working on for over a year and a half now, the Mishawaka Pocket Park.
You might have seen those big letters on the backside of city hall where users can become the 'I' in 'The Mish', the perfect selfie spot.
The Pocket Park was conceptually designed by the youth council, with the goal of drawing folks into downtown Mishawaka.
They say the art mural behind 'The Mish' depicts the Saint Joseph River as it runs through Mishawaka and the space also includes seating, landscaping, a bicycle rack, and an information display board.
