Mishawaka’s Food Truck Fridays brings lunch, sweet treats to Ironworks Plaza

MISHAWAKA, Ind.—Open air dining in downtown Mishawaka at Ironworks Plaza is made easy with Food Truck Fridays.

Local restaurants park their food trucks on Ironworks Avenue next to the new Ball Band Biergarten from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday in September.

“For Food Truck Friday we have four different trucks out here. We have Rulli’s, The Prized Pig, Smothered & Covered Fries and More and Kona Ice so some lunch items and a desert truck,” said Brittni Gendron, the Special Events and Activities Director for the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Meals and treats can be eaten outside at the Ball Band Biergarten or taken to go.

Masks are required if six feet of social distancing cannot be maintained.
