Mishawaka road paving project to begin Monday morning

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka road crews announced they will be beginning some paving projects on Home Street starting Monday morning. 

"The City of Mishawaka will be closing Home Street to thru traffic between E. McKinley Avenue and E. Day Road beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 17 for road milling and paving," city officials said. "Access to businesses will be maintained at all times with flaggers on site to direct traffic around the milling and paving operations."

If the weather cooperates, the project should be finished by Friday, June 21.

Project schedule:

• Milling existing pavement from 6/17 to 6/19
• Paving northbound travel lane on 6/19
• Paving southbound travel lane on 6/20
