LAKEVILLE, Ind. -- Miller's Goats and Gardens in Lakeville held their annual Fall Farm Tour today, featuring everything from hayrides to a farmer's market.
The event was free to attend and families from around the community flocked to the farm.
One of the stars of the event was all the animals, many of which you were able to pet, including baby calves that were only three weeks old.
"Yeah, it's really great to see all the families come out. The kids love to do this, and they get so excited some of the animals they don't like so much and that's fine, too, but it's really great to watch their reactions. A lot of them are customers from markets, so they get to come out and see where their food is being grown and get a chance to talk with us. My whole family's here. We all can talk with people, explain things. They get to learn something, maybe, and so it's a relaxed environment," stated Farmer at the Miller's Goats and Gardens Rebecca Miller.
At the market, you could buy everything from homemade jams to goat milk soaps and lotions, all in the theme of fall.
